Lady Georgianna
18th century costumed performers and workshop leaders
Allegra Froud (Abi Seabrook, voice)
Signora Storace (Micaela Schmitz, harpsichord)
Miss Isabella Wrighten (Hetti Price, cello)
They are the ladies of Lady Georgianna. Wearing shiny, cleavage-enhancing dresses, they play the popular hits of the 18th century, that time of Marie Antoinette and Mad King George.
Recent recipients of a Grant for the Arts Award, they have wowed audiences with their spectacular costumes, interesting 'sets' and their 'Ladies of Misrule' attitude.

WORKSHOPS
We have worked with a Pershore Group of Schools as well as Cutnall Green (For Droitwich Spa). Our talents were used to run workshops at Chipping Campden Music Festival. Content includes music, movement, storytelling, drama, mask /hat making and more. Our specialty is year 5-6 but we have done work with year 2's and also with teenagers.
QUOTES
"Promising ’shiny, cleavage-enhancing dresses’, they’re the opposite of the early music stereotype, recreating a racy world of pleasure gardens and libertines; rogues, wenches, tars and harlots."
' just the right tone and period atmosphere'
-- Chris Hay, Birmingham Library
Dear Lady Georgianna,
I am writing on behalf of the staff who organised the event as part of the Dr. Samuel Johnson Tercentenary Celebrations.
We wanted you to know how pleased we were with the musical performances. They were marvellous and established just the right tone and period atmosphere. The costumes were delightful and were the topic of several conversations. Members of Lady Georgianna were very professional throughout the evening and added significantly to the pleasure of our guests. We were asked by several people for your contact details which I will be delighted to forward to them. Please pass on our appreciation and thanks to your colleagues.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Hay,
