They are the ladies of Lady Georgianna. Wearing shiny, cleavage-enhancing dresses, they play the popular hits of the 18th century, that time of Marie Antoinette and Mad King George.

Recent recipients of a Grant for the Arts Award, they have wowed audiences with their spectacular costumes, interesting 'sets' and their 'Ladies of Misrule' attitude.

Ladies of Misrule

Our lovely ladies present loves, trials, and ‘90’s women- that’s 90’s women from the 1750s of course! Through music, poetry, and more, we hear how the Widow Brady offers advice to young debutantes, while other young ladies lament the passage of time and the fact that beauty fades. Find out how the Marriage Act turned the UK upside down and find out about and The Muses Delight.  Hear about Evelina’s adventures in the pleasure gardens…

The Triumphs of Georgianna

Step aside Orianna- here’s Lady Georgianna.  A mysterious Traveller tells tales of a lavish masquerade ball for a lady of lavish tastes.  Can love really be for sale?  Here we learn of Phyllis and Strephon, Damon and Chloe, and the trials of sailors gone to sea.  

The Traveller reminds us that all life is a masquerade… even for opera singers…

Georgianna’s Ghostly Adventures

 From the birth of the Gothic in the Castle of Otranto to the dark heart of the north country… Hear about the burial of George II, the star-crossed lovers William and Margaret, Henry and Katherine, the appearance of Oscar’s Ghost, and more.
Learn of mysterious apparitions,
and vote on the ending of the show.

WORKSHOPS

We have worked with a Pershore Group of Schools as well as Cutnall Green (For Droitwich Spa). Our talents were used to run workshops at Chipping Campden Music Festival.  Content includes music, movement, storytelling, drama, mask /hat making and more. Our specialty is year 5-6 but we have done work with year 2's and also with teenagers.

I am writing on behalf of the staff who organised the event as part of the Dr. Samuel Johnson Tercentenary Celebrations.
