Italian Single Manual Harpsichord (Zuckermann Kit), refurbished by Mark Ransom
Specifications A versatile instrument with a bright strong tone useful for continuo as well as selected solo work.
The instrument was refurbished by Mark Ransom in 2006.

Range: short octaves CC/DD/EE  with chromatic FF to d''
2 x 8' – each can be played independently as well as together.

Includes:
   wooden stand - two parts (no bolts);
   a light wooden cover/lid (no hinge, to keep tuning) –not pictured;
   spare strings and stringing chart.
Dimensions: Length 205cm, width 80cm, height (not including stand) 20cm
 The current owner  has had this instrument since 2005.

Basic sounds and registrations

Change of register (on right of instrument, move to back 8' to the left to add it) 2 x 8' [ at 0:19 ]

Note that registration changes are made by lifting the jack rail cover and moving the register. Changes therefore are only between whole movements or pieces.
Two 8' registers pluck from different sides of the string.

Solo in a church
